Urban Designer (2-6 years’ experience)

I am thrilled to be working alongside one of the most renowned and innovative architecture studios on a global scale as they look to welcome an Urban Designer (2-6 years experience) to their team in London.

Our client have a track record of delivering iconic projects that blend creativity, functionality, and sustainability, our client is a leader in the field of architecture and urban design. From urban revitalisation projects to cutting-edge developments, this studio’s work continues to shape the skylines of cities around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

* Excellent concept design, detail design and visualisation skills
* Ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design team in a multi-disciplinary design environment.
* Create and refine master plans, site plans, and urban design guidelines that enhance the functionality, sustainability, and aesthetics of urban spaces.
* Integrate innovative solutions for transportation, green spaces, infrastructure, and community engagement into urban design projects.
* Ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and models as they relate to the project.
* A sound understanding of urban design detailing and technical design development.
* Ability to prepare, develop and edit relevant project documentation as they relate to the project: reports, drawings, models etc.

Qualifications:

* A professional degree in Architecture with a Masters in Urban Designer and/or Landscape
* 2-6 years post-qualification experience working on medium and/or large-scale urban design/master planning projects (project experience from the Middle East is a plus)
* Excellent communication skills, fluent in English – spoken and written (Arabic is a plus)
* Strong ability with Rhino and Adobe Suite (Grasshopper is a plus)
