I am so pleased to be working alongside my favourite client in Dublin again, as they look to hire a Site Architect to their world-renowned practice. I am collaborating with this client on this vacancy that sees the team wanting to bring a technically strong and site-experienced professional into the business.

As the studio continue to grow and add to the team, there is a real buzz and confidence about the years ahead. 2024 is already very busy, with the studio portfolio getting stronger and stronger into 2025.

I will also be considering Site Technologists OR Site Engineers for this role.

The Role:
This exciting opportunity will suit a confident, experienced and forward-thinking Architect that has ideally 10 years + post-qualifying experience and a solid background in working with Irish studios on their CV.

The role will be based in the Dublin office with a significant portion of that work being site-based attendance, working on Data Centre projects, primarily within the greater Dublin Area. It is essential that the suitable candidate has Data Centre experience.

The successful candidate will work in a flexible multi-disciplinary team, primarily under the direction of the Senior Project Lead (Architect +Technologist) but also in conjunction with Directors. You will report to the Architectural project team regularly and undertake a range of duties on-site together with attendance at the teams head office in Dublin.

Responsibilities:

* Daily Monitoring of Works – tracking of progress on site vs. Contractor’s programme
* Compile weekly site reports covering various site activities consisting of but not limited to: Project quality control, BCAR Inspections, Benchmark reviews, Snag list preparation
* Filing – Received RFIs, Queries, Drawings, Emails, Technical Submittals
* BCAR & Architectural and general inspections and associated reporting
* Assisting in preparation of documentation to support BCAR completion at relevant stage of the project
* Daily liaison with Contractor’s site team on site
* Attendance at design team meetings, site meetings and main contractors’ meetings as required
* Site safety matters – raise any concerns as they arise
* Prepare new drawings / Revise existing drawings
* Reviewing drawings against As built and Co-ordination of comments from design team

Qualifications:

* Knowledge of the Building Regulations, Building Control Regulations and Planning Regulations
* ISO 9001 Architectural Practice systems and ISO 19650 Information standards.
* Production of weekly reports and maintain relevant site records.
* Development of on-site snag lists
* Relationship building skills and efficiency when working with clients
* Awareness of health and safety and site security issues.
* Clean driving license and access to private transport
