Senior Interior Designer – Luxury Residences

High end, residential design studio with offices across three states, are seeking to appoint a Senior Interior Designer to join their growing New York interiors team.

With a breathtaking portfolio of simply stunning projects, the successful professional will be set to join a truly collaborative and welcoming team. T

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Developing floor plans, elevations, and renderings
* Liaising with vendors, fabricators, and consultants, while maintaining strong communication throughout the design process to completion
* Developing project presentations and drawings as projects evolve from concept design to completion
* Managing multiple projects from start to completion, at various project phases
* Research, selection, sourcing and specifying FF&E
* Create and review construction drawings, custom mill work drawings, custom furniture drawings, etc
* Create and manage schedules such as Finish, Plumbing, Door & Hardware, etc
* Schedule and manage installation, site visits and site surveys
* Creating proposals, executing purchase orders and expediting
* Interfacing with clients, managing expectations

Requirements:

* Interior design degree with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience
* Proven track record working with million dollar budgets for super high end residential projects
* Excellent attention to detail & strong organization, collaboration and communication skills
* Knowledge of high-end showrooms and product lines
* Experience with custom furniture design and reviewing construction/millwork drawings
* Highly proficient in AutoCAD
* Proficiency in Sketchup and Studio Designer
* Ability to work well autonomously as well as part of a team

This is not a remote role and will be office based, although flexibility is offered when required. Benefits include PTO, plus office closure over the winter break and additional public holidays. Benefits such as 401K and Healthcare, which is paid in full.

The salary available is reflective of experience but is expected to be in the region of $100,000 – $125,000 per annum.
