An established global architecture, planning, and interior design firm is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with extensive experience in healthcare, cultural, educational, or institutional projects. For over three decades, this firm has been dedicated to design excellence, focusing on creating spaces that engage context and enhance the human experience across various sectors, including residential, hospitality, educational, cultural, and commercial.

The successful candidate will work directly with the Principal-in-Charge and the firm’s Partners to lead the interior design of a major landmark project. This role involves direct interaction with clients, collaborators, and senior officials, and requires leading a team of experienced designers to develop and execute the project design.

Key Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with the Interiors Design Director to develop the design direction for the project.
– Lead the planning, designing, and furnishing of interiors, ensuring practical designs that meet project requirements and uphold high design standards.
– Direct and guide a team in preparing client presentations and detailed design plans.
– Conduct client presentations and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
– Mentor junior designers and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the firm’s processes and tools.

Required Skills & Experience:

– Professional Degree in Architecture or Interior Design; licensure is a plus.
– Over 12 years of relevant interior design experience.
– Strong design sensibility, graphic ability, and technical knowledge.
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
– Proven ability to lead client presentations and manage relationships.
– Experience in managing design teams and overseeing work plans.
– Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines autonomously.
– Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
– Commitment to participating actively in studio culture.

Compensation & Benefits:

– Salary: $105,000 – $130,000 base salary, plus bonuses, contingent on experience.
