Urban are collaborating with one of Ireland’s finest design studios in their search for an experienced Senior Architect to join their team in Dublin.

At Senior level, this role involves spearheading projects, overseeing large-scale public sector schemes of significant value, managing team workflows, and upholding exemplary work standards.

The suitable Senior Architect will play a key role in advancing my clients portfolio of work in the Education and Healthcare sectors, tapping into national opportunities for growth. With work in Ireland on the up, the forecast and project portfolio is increasingly busy.

Key responsibilities:
At Senior level this will include project management, business development, and active participation in sales, including pitch preparation, feasibility studies, and business case development. A confident grasp of Government contracts is essential for successful applicants.

This role will involve close collaboration with the Sector Associate, the Senior Architect will steer projects through all RIAI phases, leading project teams and nurturing that junior talent coming through. They will ensure seamless coordination among the Design Team and other consultants, while also managing project deliverables and promptly addressing any design/construction issues with Associates or Directors.

The ideal Senior Architect will possess a wealth of experience across all RIAI project stages and be confident taking schemes from early design to completion, with a track record of delivering successful outcomes.

Prior public sector experience is essential, showcasing a thorough understanding of its intricacies and operational protocols. Prior involvement in healthcare and/or education projects are considered advantageous for this role.

The studio are working in BIM, proficiency in Revit will be essential, with strong experience needed.
