My client is seeking a Project Architect with exposure to commercial, mixed-use, hospitality and residential projects. This position would benefit an individual with a business development background.

Your Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

* Plan, schedule and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
* Production of architectural plans and details, seeking creative and innovative solutions to tasks, while developing appropriate material and product research and documentation to support these solutions
* Overseeing the preparation of technical drawings and ensuring compliance in detail documentation.
* Knowledge and understanding of NYC Planning and Zoning Resolutions and their impact on a potential project site.
* Navigating the DOB permitting process and local laws and codes pertaining to the work.
* Responsible for the advancement of projects through all stages of work.
* Attending site visits, surveys and inspections
* Delivering diagrams, 3D models, drawings, and renderings.

You will require the following qualifications to be considered:

* Bachelor’s and master’s degree in architecture.
* 8-15 years or equivalent experience within the architecture industry.
* Experience with business development.
* Licensed Architect in the state of New York preferred.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and the Adobe Suite
* Experience with 3D modelling and rendering software.
* Experience with on-site construction and project coordination.
* Ability to lead the production of construction document sets.
* Exhibit innovation and problem solving with a high attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary is based on AIA Salary Survey plus years of experience
