Job Description: Intermediate Interior Designer (High-End Workplace Design)
Location: New York City, NY
Position Overview: Our client is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Intermediate Interior Designer to join our high-end workplace design studio in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate workplace and commercial interior design, advanced proficiency in Revit, and experience contributing to dynamic, sophisticated design projects. This role requires a collaborative spirit and a passion for delivering innovative and functional design solutions within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior designers and project managers in the design and development of office spaces, lobbies, conference rooms, meeting rooms, and amenity spaces.

Develop design concepts, space plans, and detailed layouts that reflect project objectives and workplace strategy.
*
Prepare high-quality design presentations, including renderings, material boards, and design narratives.
*
Create and maintain Revit models and detailed construction documents to ensure design intent and technical accuracy.
*
Research and select finishes, materials, furniture, and fixtures appropriate for high-end workplace environments.
*
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
*
Participate in client meetings, presenting design ideas and addressing feedback effectively.
*
Manage portions of project work with guidance from senior team members, adhering to schedules and budgets.
Qualifications:
*
A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
*
4-7 years of professional interior design experience, with recent focus on corporate workplace and commercial interiors.
*
Experience working on high-end office design projects, including lobbies, meeting spaces, and collaborative work environments.
*
Advanced proficiency in Revit is required; familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools is preferred.

Knowledge of workplace design trends, systems furniture, and interior finishes.
*
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
*
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to contribute to a team-oriented culture.
*
Working knowledge of New York City building codes and regulations.
*
Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
