An award-winning architectural and interior design firm based in New York City is looking for a Project Manager. Recognized for iconic spaces at home in New York and abroad. Each of our projects demonstrates a detailed and comprehensive design vision. This prestigious firm is currently engaged in an international roster of projects in the cultural, institutional, hospitality, retail and residential spheres.

Responsibilities and Duties:
The position involves contributing and managing the complex coordination, development and production of projects from concept design through construction administration, installation, and project handover. Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a strong ability in the following:
* Able to lead/guide a team on all phases of a project
* Able to manage multiple projects across the board, simultaneously
* Strong client facing capabilities
* Construction Documentation level drawing work, including highly articulate design detailing. Proficiency with traditional architectural vocabulary and the fundamentals of building construction and assembly
* Strong in vendor management; and coordination with extensive consultant team inclusive of MEP and Structural Engineers, Lighting Designers, Landscape Designers, et cetera
* Comfortable presenting ideas – both internally and externally

Qualifications and Skills:
* Minimum of 6-10 years of professional experience
* Experience in hospitality a must; retail, commercial, institutional experience a plus
* Knowledge of construction methods
* Ability to produce and review technical documentation (DD, CD/IDD)
* Fluency in AutoCAD
* Strong graphics and visual presentation skills.
* 3D modeling and rendering experience (Rhino, Revit) is a plus
* Dexterity with hand drawing and rendering capabilities is a plus
* Formal education or working background in Architecture
* Construction Documentation level drawing work, including highly articulate design detailing. Proficiency with traditional architectural vocabulary and the fundamentals of building construction and assembly
* Ability to collaborate with consultants and work on a project team
