Experienced BIM Specialist

Urban are proudly working alongside one of Ireland’s leading design studios as they look to welcome an Experienced BIM Specialist to their Dublin team following planned growth in the BIM team.

This role represents an unbelievably good opportunity to join a creative and collaborative team dedicated to shaping the skyline of Dublin and beyond.

As a BIM Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across various projects. Your responsibilities will include:

* Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
* Overseeing the implementation of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to ensure consistency and accuracy.
* Conducting clash detection and resolving coordination issues to enhance project efficiency and reduce errors.
* Creating detailed documentation and reports to communicate BIM strategies, progress, and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
* Providing guidance and training to team members to foster BIM proficiency and knowledge sharing.
* Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology, contributing to the studio’s continuous improvement.

Requirements:

* A bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator, ideally within a reputable architectural or engineering firm.
* Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks
* Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
* Experience working to ISO 19650 BIM standards
* Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve clashes and coordination issues.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* An innovative mindset with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in BIM technology.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
