Urban are very excited to be working with this global name who are looking for a Design Team Lead to join their London studio. An A100 practice and true global leader.
This practice work on a global scale and scream team work in all they do. A lovely practice of 80 who are people centric, a family feel and genuinely care about the progression and happiness of staff.
As a Design Team Lead you will be the representative on projects, and the person ultimately responsible for the creative solutions of that project and advancing the design standards within the practice. Takes design lead on projects under the guidance of the project Principal and manages/mentors designers in the studio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the schematic design, under direction of the Principal
* Creating the design with minimal direction form the Principal
* Demonstrated experience of leading the design of hospitality projects, leading the design of key hospitality assets & hotel planning
* Demonstrated experience of leading concept and schematic design stages
* Demonstrated experience of giving guidance to visualisation providers
* Leading a team of designers
* Leading the sub-consultant teams for input into the design
* Hands on role
* Rhino skills are essential, Revit would be an advantage
Hotel experience is a must, and Middle East project experience would be an advantage!
