Job Title: Corporate Interior Architect; Project Professional

Location: New York

Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Corporate Workplace Technical Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating all aspects of corporate interiors projects from initial site survey to project close-out. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1 Conduct comprehensive site surveys and documentation to assess project requirements and conditions accurately.
2 Review general site codes including egress, fixture counts, and path of travel to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
3 Assist in the preparation of budget scope drawings and specifications to define project scope and requirements.
4 Coordinate technical aspects of the project with the design team to ensure design intent is executed effectively.
5 Conduct additional site surveys and documentation as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
6 Develop full construction documentation, including technical detailing and specifications, to guide construction activities.
7 Facilitate coordination with clients, landlords, and consultants to address project requirements and resolve any conflicts or issues.
8 Conduct redline reviews of construction documents to identify and address discrepancies or errors.
9 Issue and distribute documentation to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner to ensure project progress.
10 Respond to questions from bidders and provide clarification on project specifications and requirements.
11 Attend weekly project meetings and promptly respond to RFIs, to support project progress.
12 Conduct site inspections and approve layout plans to ensure alignment with project specifications and design intent.
13 Coordinate revisions, bulletins, and addenda to update project documentation as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
14 Review shop drawings and submittals to verify compliance with design and technical requirements.
15 Conduct punchlist inspections, compile punchlist items, and distribute reports to relevant parties for resolution.
16 Assist in the preparation of project close-out documentation to ensure project completion and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in interiors, architecture or related roles, notably in corporate interiors, or interior architectural construction projects.
* Strong technical skills with proficiency in Revit, and other relevant software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction industry standards.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Full legal authorization to work in Manhattan, NYC, USA.
