One of the world’s leading design studios – in both the regard of their design and commercial success – are looking to appoint a Business Development Lead, to work directly with the owner of the firm + it’s Partners, to drive their New Business strategy and outreach.

This individual must be driven and ambitious to take on the challenge, within which there is no glass ceiling and a track into a strategic leadership position with one of the finest architects in New York.

Historically a ‘starchitect studio’, 100+ people globally, over three continents, and c.60 and growing in New York, they have designed and delivered some of the globe’s most iconic buildings, working across a huge variety of sectors – from civic buildings to cultural projects, life science projects to infrastructure, commercial to residential projects, and everything in between.

They are a full-service firm, noted for their design ingenuity and innovation, but are hands on through delivery for most jobs in the US, and some international projects. Based in a spectacular open plan studio, with views over the Manhattan skyline.

They are searching for a Business Development Lead, to work directly with the owner of the practice, and it’s marketing and BD team. This person will be an integral part of their team from day one and, for the right person, there will be a path to a strategic leadership role.

The role will be entirely focused on winning new business, and the right candidate must have existing client relationships, and a deep understanding, of the New York or United States AEC market, ideally across a variety of project sectors. More importantly, the individual needs to be entrepreneurial, driven, and ambitious enough to take on this role and help drive a famous studio into it’s next chapter.

Salary open to negotiation dependent on experience, from $120,000 – $180,000
