Urban are currently partnering with a prestigious architectural practice based in London that are seeking a skilled and experienced BIM Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects and collaborate with industry experts, pushing the boundaries of Building Information Modeling (BIM) implementation.

This role is targeted at experienced BIM professionals. For this opportunity, I will also consider BIM Coordinator’s with extensive experience looking to take a step up and manage.

As a BIM Manager, you will take on a crucial role in spearheading BIM processes and driving innovation throughout the firm. Working alongside a team of accomplished architects and designers, you will be responsible for implementing BIM strategies and technologies to optimise project efficiency, coordination, and collaboration. This position offers a chance to contribute to cutting-edge projects, leverage advanced BIM tools, and make a lasting impact on the architectural industry.

Responsibilities:

* Lead the implementation and management of BIM processes across various projects within the architectural practice.
* Collaborate with project teams to establish project-specific BIM goals, standards, and procedures.
* Develop and maintain BIM execution plans, templates, and libraries to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
* Provide training and mentorship to team members, equipping them with the necessary BIM skills, processes, and best practices.
* Manage BIM models and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is readily accessible to the project team.
* Foster strong relationships with external consultants and clients, streamlining BIM workflows and coordinating project deliverables.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or a related field.
* Proven experience working as a BIM Manager or in a similar role within an architectural practice.
* Proficiency in industry-standard BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
* Strong understanding of BIM methodologies, standards, and best practices.
* Demonstrated ability to implement and manage BIM processes across multiple projects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
