Are you a BIM Coordinator, looking to work at an AJ100 Architectural Practice? Then I guess you’re in luck!

I am working with an ambitious and expanding practice based in London, with a growing national and international workload and a diverse and interesting BIM workload.

The role will operate alongside the BIM Management level but with a hands-on approach when needed.

The description below includes the core activities of the role but is not exclusive.

Project Interface:

* Working with project teams to evaluate EIRs and related documentation* Author BEPs based on the FCBS template and related project BIM documentation
* Support project standards coordination with clients and consultants
* Attend project BIM Meetings where required
* In limited instances perform the role of Information Manager
* Assist project teams in BIM project setup
* Oversee the creation of Revit families in response to project need
* Help resolve BIM design issues
* Communicate with subcontractors in relation to BIM where required

Standards Management:

* Contribute to BIM standards development, implementation and application
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the software Template files to assure standards
* Automate routines in BIM (preferably in Dynamo) to support standards and productivity
* Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all shop drawings produced
* Assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process/standards
* Train and oversee the day-to-day activities of the Project BIM Co-ordinators to ensure BIM standards are maintained

Learning and Development:

* Work with the Learning and Development Coordinator to arrange Revit Architecture Fundamental and Intermediate training to staff – either by training in-house or by the use of external training consultant
* Conduct internal Revit development sessions.
* Provide technical orientation to New employees regarding BIM
* Help assess new staff BIM skills
* Maintain high level of competency of software through continued use and training
* Attend conferences, seminars, and workshops for BIM; bringing back leaming and disseminating the information to appropriate teams

Communications of BIM services:

* Web, literature, interviews, presenting at relevant client focused meetings
* Future BIM/Revit Architecture Industry Initiatives and Developments
* Identify trends and business opportunities relating to BIM
* Evaluate and make recommendations regarding new BIM software
