Associate Architect – Heritage Sector

We are seeking an experienced Architect at the Associate level to join our clients team, working on some amazing projects in the heritage sector. This role encompasses business development, studio leadership, project management at various stages, and collaborative efforts with clients and consultants. You will lead talented teams and contribute to a renowned portfolio of projects in a rewarding and supportive environment for personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage projects from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
* Oversee project delivery and support the long-term strategy of working with the Palace of Westminster.
* Maintain and develop client relationships, identifying new business opportunities.
* Participate in studio management, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work culture.
* Support the professional development of team members.
* Represent the organization to primary clients, public officials, and sub-consultants.
* Engage in business generation activities, securing architectural and conservation projects.
* Prepare and manage bids, contributing to the financial success of projects.

Qualifications Required:

* 10 years’ post-qualification experience.
* Proven experience in project delivery and management.
* Excellent design, technical, and conservation skills.
* Strong understanding of UK Building and Planning regulations.
* Experience across all RIBA stages.
* AABC or RIBA SCA/CA accreditation.
* Experience with NEC4 contracts.
* Proficiency in BIM/Revit.
* Strong client-facing communication skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Leadership experience managing small to medium-sized teams.
* Commercial awareness and experience managing project finances.
