Associate Architect

Urban are working alongside an award-winning mid-sized architectural studio in Manchester that are looking to welcome the addition of an Associate Architect to their existing workforce.

This position represents a fantastic opportunity to join one of the very design teams in the country in a leading role, with tons of responsibility and creative input. I am not expecting this role to be available for too long, these positions with leading teams rarely come live.

The Studio:
With an excellent and busy project workload scheduled for 2023 and beyond, this exciting team are very much on the up and looking to add to their studio with this addition. The team are in need of a senior head, someone that has been in a similar role would be an advantage.

Suitable applicant’s will be joining an established team that work well together in a collaborative environment throughout projects from initial inception design stages through to completion on- site.

The Role & Responsibilities:
The Associate will be confident throughout the RIBA Plan of Work through design and technical stages, with excellence coming in job-running, project management and leading teams.

This position presents the opportunity to be a studio leader and manage the team. There will be plenty of project leadership at concept and delivery stages, working collaboratively with clients and consultants, and leading enthusiastic and talented teams within the studio.

With the role of Associate being at a senior level, suitable professionals will have excellent client-facing skills, a project management background, be organised and a natural leader who can take responsibility and deliver.

Portfolio:
The studio has a diverse and varied portfolio that spans Commercial, Offices, Residential, Mixed Use amongst other typologies. Current workloads are in Commercially focused projects so excellent experience in this desirable.

Revit:
The team are confident BIM users, experience in Revit will put you at an advantage but this is by no means essential and training can be provided for stand-out applicants.
