Urban are working closely with a leading and award-winning design and engineering firm in the West Midlands on their requirement for an Architectural BIM Co-ordinator to join the firms ‘design arm’ team.

The team are a rapidly growing, dynamic group that have a busy workflow heading through 2020 and into 2021. The studio specialise in complex architecture within a multitude of typologies including infrastructure, pharmaceutical, transport, aviation and life science sectors.

The type of work that this studio are renowned for globally, will see the suitable candidate hands-on with with complex and challenging projects that require the latest BIM technologies and techniques.

The BIM Co-ordinator will be working collaboratively and alongside the team’s existing BIM Manager to manage and deliver the BIM aspects of architectural projects in their West Midlands studio.

The suitable candidate must have a proactive attitude and be a competent Revit user and have experience in delivering and managing multi-disciplinary Revit models alongside producing clash and model audit reports.

The BIM Co-ordinator will be tasked with contributing to the overall team development and growth of BIM knowledge in architectural department. The role will include the responsibility for developing and implementing a fully tailored BIM service and train colleagues in the use of Revit for design and co- ordination through all stages of the project process.

Levels of proficiency within BIM Software is essential and the Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring projects achieve BIM delivery in compliance with the BSi standards, EIR, BEP and BIM procedures.
