About the Opportunity

We are looking for talented and driven Architects-or highly experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistants-to join a thriving London studio. This role provides the chance to work on landmark projects across the UK and internationally, with a strong focus on sports, leisure, and community-oriented designs. If you have a passion for creativity, sustainability, and impactful design, this is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a team dedicated to innovative and diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Innovative Designs: Work closely with a dynamic team to create inspiring concepts and solutions.

Collaborate Across Studios: Engage with colleagues in various locations, contributing to international projects and knowledge-sharing.

Focus on RIBA Stages 1-3: Lead early project stages, from bids and competitions to concept design and planning applications, with opportunities to follow projects through to completion.

Precision in Design: Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all design elements and project coordination.

Sustainability and Social Impact: Contribute to initiatives focused on sustainable design and community value.

Presentation and Material Preparation: Take an active role in crafting compelling presentations and supporting project materials.

Studio and Project Involvement: Build ownership over tasks within both project teams and wider studio activities, representing the studio positively in all interactions.

General Requirements

Design-Driven Mindset: A creative, design-focused approach is essential.

Communication and Presentation Skills: Strong ability to communicate and present design concepts effectively.

Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards in all aspects of design and project coordination.

Knowledge of Building Regulations and Planning: General understanding of UK Building Regulations and Planning Legislation.

Site Analysis and Preliminary Studies: Capability to conduct initial studies and site analyses.

Graphic Storytelling: Strong visualisation skills for effective storytelling through design.

Interest in Sports and Leisure: Experience in sports and leisure design, or a keen interest in the sector, is advantageous.

Software Requirements

Revit: essential.

Microsoft Office / Adobe Suite

Visualisation Tools: SketchUp, Enscape, and Twinmotion.

Presentation Tools: Familiarity with InDesign and Photoshop is preferred.
