- £90,000 to £130,000
Architect or Project Architect for a 100-strong, cultural and institutional powerhouse with a collaborative design ethos.
I am delighted to be working with one of New York’s top design studios in their search for an Architect or Project Architect to join their growing team. Over 100-strong in their New York office, this studio work on top end cultural and institutional projects across all phases of design and construction, being full service architects.
They specialize in cultural and institutional projects – working on museums, performing arts centers, cultural + performance spaces, higher education and life science buildings. Their projects are generally medium + large scale and of the highest design quality. They have a totally collaborative environment – far from the typical ‘sketch on a napkin’ starchitect approach, and encourage all team members to take ownership of the design process. They work across all stages of projects and will deliver their US based projects, whilst leading design on international jobs and partnering with a local architect through the delivery.
They are looking for an Architect or Project Architect to join the studio, which is growing due to several won projects. They will be working on a mix of institutional and cultural work in the US and internationally across various design and technical stages. The studio use Revit and Rhino as their main tools, for production and design respectively.
To be considered for this role you must have at least 4/5 years’ professional experience and a portfolio demonstrating good quality institutional, higher education or cultural work. Ideally, you would have experience working across various stages of projects – having an idea of how to produce packages and details, as well as the front-end design work – and be comfortable taking a lead with project coordination. You must be fluent in either Revit or Rhino to be considered.
Salary: $90,000-130,000 dependent on experience.
