A leading interior design firm is currently seeking a versatile Senior Designer with a strong technical acumen. This role will primarily involve working on high-profile hospitality and commercial residential projects.

The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in the hospitality, restaurant, and/or high-end residential sectors, demonstrating a strong ability to manage small to mid-size projects while contributing to larger team-based projects.

A winning combination of impeccable taste, strong technical skills, and solid FF&E knowledge is essential. Experience in delivering projects from concept through to site installation, and managing relationships with the various stakeholders is important.

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide creative direction, developing ideas and concepts for projects
– International travel for presentations or site visits may be required
– Production of detail design packages and relevant specification information
– Design bespoke furniture and create detailed drawings
– Develop project budgets as needed
– Manage project control samples with the team
– Review shop drawings and oversee production of custom items
– Liaise with clients, consultants, and vendors
– Ensure accuracy of design documents and schedules produced by the team
– Coordinate FF&E information with detailed design packages
– Support and oversee other members of the design team

Key Skills required:
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and Indesign
– Proactive, confident, and curious
– Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
– Detail-oriented, with excellent time management
– Initiative and a team-oriented mindset
– Expertise in both traditional and contemporary interior materials
– Fluency in English
