Located in South West London, this well established Design Firm are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join their collaborative and talented team. With a number of new projects receiving green light status, they are in a position to expand their team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in the interior design field, with a proven track record of delivering luxury, high-quality residential projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

– Concept Development: Lead the delivery and implementation of design concepts throughout the project lifecycle, including the origination and proposal of innovative ideas.

– Technical Expertise: Utilise proficient AutoCAD skills to create well-considered spatial coordination and furniture layouts, ensuring adherence to industry drawing standards.

– FF&E Management: Oversee the production and management of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) drawings and schedules, including furnished plans, reflected ceiling plans, internal room elevations, finishes, hardwired lighting, small power, and pattressing.

– Team Coordination: Ensure seamless coordination between the furniture team and the architectural team, maintaining a collaborative approach.

– Procurement Management: Manage procurement packages in alignment with the project programme, coordinating with team members, logistics managers, and the project director to ensure timely delivery.

– Budget Compliance: Regularly review the project budget and report any concerns to the project director, ensuring that all expenditures align with the allocated budget.

– External Coordination: Collaborate with external parties such as executive architects, lighting/AV consultants, and Client teams to ensure detailed implementation across all project aspects.

– Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Client team, managing communications and ensuring that all F&F-related client requirements are met.

– Design Detailing: Lead the production of individual work packages and design detailing, liaising with makers where relevant to ensure precision and quality.

– Installation Oversight: Oversee the installation phase of the project, including logistics management, to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

– Post-Project Management: Implement post-completion snagging, maintain records, and track remedial works to ensure client satisfaction.

– Documentation: Ensure that all installation documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.

Qualifications:

– A degree or equivalent qualification in Interior Design or a related field.
– A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in interior design.
– Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
– Strong understanding of spatial coordination, furniture layout, and drawing standards.
– Experience in managing FF&E drawing production and schedules.
– Excellent communication and project management skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
– Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
