Urban are working alongside one of Manchester’s finest Interior Design studios as they look to add a Mid-Level Interior Designer to their existing workforce.

This role will be based within the design team and is ideally focused towards a confident individual that is comfortable working throughout projects from inception to completion. With the team being small, the responsibilities will be right through the plan of work from early design and brief, to on-site and completion.

The studio is continuously adopting and incorporating the latest design trends and styles into their projects, so relevant up to date industry knowledge is essential.

You will be expected to work within timely schedules to coordinate the completion of tasks through to final project completion. As a Mid-Level Designer, it will be important to have experience in on-site observations and experience of providing recommendations to help streamline ongoing design projects. Key requirements will be to prepare and participate in client presentations, deliver concepts, design development and detail design (including visuals, modelling, rendering, technical design documentation).

Requirements of the role are to work with the interior design team to process and develop solutions, acquiring key information about potential projects, discussing requirements in detail with project team. Further knowledge of furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) and materiality and finishes will be essential.

Suitable applicants will hold a bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture. The team are regular users of AutoCAD and SketchUp so experience will be key. Further experience in Vectorworks, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, MS Office are desirable.
